Plant Care - What do you need to do after you receive the plants 收到多肉后的养护

  1. Trim the dead root, take away the easily broken fine root with your hand, do not trim too much root, keep 2-4cm main root
  2. Soak the root with rooting powder and fungicide. Soak for 15 minutes. (This step is recommended but not necessary, skip this step if you don't have rooting powder nor fungicide)
  3. Place the plant in a dry cool place without direct sunlight. Allow 1 to 3 days for the the root to dry out and heal.
  4. Place large particles, e.g. Maifan Stone, Scoria at the bottom of the pot and then use well-drained succulent potting mix. Use Maifan stone for topping. Moderately water the plant along the edge of the after 3 to 7 days.
  5. Place the plant in the shade with good ventilation and avoid exposure to direct sun, until the plant shows growing sign, e.g. the middle of the rosette starts to turn green, new roots growing, the leaves at the bottom starts to consume, you can feel the plant holds the soil. It is quite common the colour fades away when the plant is trying to settle. The time to settle varies between different varieties and different geographical environment.
  1. 修根，只需要用手摘去很容易断开的根须就行，不用修去太多，那些需要使劲儿才能揪的下来的根须都是健康的，不用修掉。
  2. 泡根，用生根粉，杀菌药兑水，浓度低一些，将多肉植物放进去浸泡15分钟即可。（如果没有生根粉或杀菌剂，这一步可以省去）
  3. 放阴凉通风处晾根，即把浸泡过的多肉根部晾干，同时也给肉肉伤口一个愈合的时间，但要注意是晾干不是晒干。1天至3天伤口愈合才可以种下。
  4. 入盆，记得在盆底铺上陶粒打底（也可以使大颗粒麦饭石、火山石等透气石子），再放入配好的疏松透气的多肉颗粒土，再用黄金麦饭石铺面。刚种下的肉别给水，一般3天过后或7天过后沿盆边少量给水。
  5. 种好的多肉要放在阴凉通风处，避免太阳暴晒，直到肉肉长新叶，叶心变绿、底部叶片消耗，长新根，你可以感觉多肉抓住泥土。有褪色现象的时候才算服盆，服盆的时间不仅和品种有关还和地理位置气候环境等有关。
